Hands & Feet, Fingers & Toes

Since we got a new camera, I’ve been taking pictures of EV.ERY.THING. It’s so annoying if you’re not me. But, I am me, so I’m having fun!

Anyways, there’s trillions of photog websites, from mamarazzis to professionals that give all sorts of advice, hold contests, have “theme” weeks, etc. I’ve had fun browsing them and trying some of their techniques and challenges. One site (now I can’t remember which one) had this week’s theme as “Hands, feet, fingers, and toes” so I took these photos to practice and have fun with.

Baby-sitter

Since the main purpose of this blog is to brag document our family life for ourselves, friends, and family to read, I figured this milestone deserved a post of it’s own.

Now that she can be upright, Charlie’s been paying her a little bit more attention. (No exaggeration, a little bit more. Not tons…but a little.) She’s beginning to prefer sitting to laying, but still needs a pillow barrier since she can topple unexpectedly, especially after laughing or sneezing, or flailing her arms about excitedly. She’s so cute!

I like the photo, taken of my grandmother last week on her 81st birthday. I edited just a tad with PSE for a little more background blur and slight color adjustment. But it doesn't seem to "pop". Any feedback?
